Barbara Jean Smith, born February 13, 1945, in Green City, Missouri, passed away February 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. The youngest of three, she married her high school sweetheart, Roger Smith, in 1964, sharing 62 devoted years together. They raised three daughters and cherished seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Known as “Granny,” she never missed a milestone and welcomed everyone with warmth. A Vice President at Dodson Insurance Group, she retired in 2000 to travel and garden. Services were held February 16, 2026, in Green City, Missouri. Her life reflected love, kindness, and devotion.
