Baseball and softball sign-ups, through the Osceola Community Athletic Association, are now open for children going into the fourth grade through eighth grade. Games will begin in late May or early June and will end by July 1. Some games will be hosted by OCAA but travel will also be involved to other towns, such as Weaubleau, Wheatland, Hermitage, and Humansville. Game nights will be Mondays for Little Ladies (sixth, seventh, eighth grade girls), Tuesday for Grasshoppers (fourth, fifth grade boys), Thursdays for Little League (sixth, seventh, eighth grades boys), and Fridays for Crickets (fourth, fifth grade girls), playing one or two games each night. Sign-ups are due by April 1 with a paper form being sent home from school with students the last week of March. For more information, including how to register online, contact Onna at 417-327-5153.
