Tammy Lynn Appleton was born on December 14, 1965, to James and Wanda Bryant in Kansas City, Missouri.

She passed away on the 6th of May 2026 at the young age of 60. In life and in everything she did, she worked harder than anyone and was working right up until her last day.

Her loss is hard and unexpected by the family. Although it was unexpected and hard for the family, it is gain for her Spiritually. She trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior years ago and one of her proudest moments was displaying that faith in a public display of faith when she followed the Lord’s example in believer’s baptism. Her faith in Jesus Christ means that she’ll be seated in heaven waiting for her friends and family that trusts in Jesus too.

She lived her short life to the fullest. Her life provided her many things to be proud of. Starting with her relationship with Olen “Cameron” Appleton, she built a life with him that produced children and grandchildren that were her world. Tammy and Cameron met in Inner-City Kansas City in 1982 and from there married in 1984. She had three kids; April, Olen III, and Megan that she always loved harder and stronger than herself. Those three children provided her precious grandchildren that she could not get enough of. Those grandchildren in order were Sierra, Emaleigh, Gary, Olen, Hunter, Glen, Kyree, Mecyah, Logan, Lily, Elijah, Everett, and most recently she was so proud to announce that she was going to be the great grandma with Sierra expecting a baby soon. There was never a time in her life when she put herself before her husband, her children and grandchildren.

Tammy Appleton is preceded in death by her husband Cameron, her Mom Wanda, Dad James and oldest brother Bob.
