Alvin R. Dody passed away July 18, 2025 at his home in El Dorado Spring, MO. He was born August 17, 1938 to Roy and Della Dody. He grew up in the Taberville Community. He graduated from Appleton City High School.
Alvin was saved when he was a teenage boy and was a member of the El Dorado Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
On August 11, 1961 he married Donnie Jo Hudson and they made their home in El Dorado Springs, MO.
Proceeding him in death was his parents, and his brothers Donald Dody and James Dody.
Alvin is survived by his wife Donnie Jo of the home, his sons Kevin and wife Penelope, Darren and wife Janna, Grandchildren Lainey Dody and Kole Dody, sister Mary and husband Ronald Purtle, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service was held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 10 AM at Sheldon Funeral Chapel, El Dorado Springs, MO. Interment was held in El Dorado Springs City Cemetery, El Dorado Springs, MO.
