On Dec. 7, at just before 11 p.m., El Dorado Springs Fire Department personnel were called to the 5000 block of Hwy. U with a reported structure fire. Battling the blaze took approximately two hours and required four trucks and 17 firefighters to extinguish. There were no injuries reported.
