The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will have crews replacing pipe in nine locations under the roadway on Hwy. Z, Dec. 30 through Jan. 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The location, between SE 251 Rd. (Henry County) and Hwy. U (north of Lowry City), will be closed where crews are working with drivers having access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone but not able to travel through the zone. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes as there will be no signed detours. All lanes of the highway will be open during nighttime hours and on weekends. Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the zone(s). As always, weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
