On Aug. 2, Governor Mike Parson announced official appointments to four Judicial Circuits, including the 27th circuit, St. Clair County.
Blane Baker, a resident of Lowry City and a partner at Baker Law Firm, L.L.C., was appointed as Associate Circuit Judge for St. Clair County in the 27th circuit.
Baker obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a minor in Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas in 2003, his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa in 2005, and admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2006. He practiced law in Jefferson City with the Missouri Public Service Commission for two years prior to moving back to Osceola and joining the Baker Firm with his father, J.D., and brother, Brandon, who currently serves as the 27th Judicial Circuit Judge. Baker is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, 27th Circuit Bar Association, and the Federal Court, Western District of Missouri.
Baker Law Firm has established offices in Osceola and Clinton, focusing on various areas of practice. “We’ve served the communities of Osceola and Clinton throughout Henry and St. Clair Counties with over 50 years of combined experience both in and out of the courtroom,” the firm states.
Baker’s appointment to the Associate Circuit Judge position by Governor Parson follows the untimely death of Associate Circuit Judge Jeremiah (Jerry) J. Rellihan of Osceola in late-June who was elected in 2015.
